When the Chimney Smokes – An Inspiring Evening at Innovation Night 2025
“The best moments are those when the chimney smokes.” With these words, we were warmly welcomed to Innovation Night 2025 – held in the spectacular halls of die fabrik Chemnitz. But it wasn't just the glowing pink smoke that made the evening unforgettable. From the moment Tijen Onaran took the stage with her powerful keynote on courage, the event set the tone for an evening full of inspiration and future-driven ideas. Topics like artificial intelligence in small and medium-sized enterprises, cybersecurity, and blockchain innovations gave the audience valuable insights into how deeply the future is already rooted in our region. Particularly striking were the comparisons between German and Silicon Valley business cultures – especially regarding investment strategies and the speed of decision-making. These conversations highlighted how important it is to rethink traditional approaches if we want to keep pace with global innovation. One of the evening’s highlights was the presentation of fully digital investment models, such as Tokenize.it, showcasing how digital innovation is reshaping the funding landscape and making capital more accessible than ever. Together with the focus on cybersecurity and blockchain, it became clear: technology is not just a driver of change – it is the engine powering transformation across industries. As a tech company, we believe that the future takes shape where bold ideas meet bold people. Innovation Night proved just that. With sharp content, inspiring speakers, and an outstanding atmosphere, the event offered exactly what its name promises: true innovation. A heartfelt thank you to die fabrik for organizing such a forward-thinking evening – and to Malte Ziegenhagen, Frank Theeg, Frank Steinert, and Gerd Göbelbecker, whose vision brought Innovation Night to life. We’re already looking forward to the next spark of inspiration.
