SPD Delegation Visits FDTech: Engaging Discussions on Mobility, Social Justice, and Company Resilience
As part of their election campaign, prominent representatives of the SPD Saxony, including Petra Köpping, Minister of State for Social Affairs and Social Cohesion, and Detlef Müller, Member of the German Bundestag, visited FDTech headquarters to engage in a meaningful exchange on critical issues such as electric mobility, social justice, and company resilience. The visit provided an excellent opportunity to showcase FDTech's contributions to autonomous driving, discuss shared values, and explore the challenges and opportunities facing both businesses and society.
Marcus Wilsdorf gave a tour of our company history, described developments in autonomous driving and highlighted FDTech's role in this context. The CADA network was also presented, which, as always, caused great astonishment among the guests. After all, few people know how many engineers are working on autonomous driving here in the region.
Michelle Barthold gave a varied and interesting presentation on the shared values we live by, the development opportunities that await employees, what the maturity model is all about and the benefits available at FDTech.
We also discussed the following topics: Part-time employment, integration of international specialists, educational leave, paternity leave and efforts to raise the minimum wage. In order to avoid placing an even greater burden on companies, fairer taxation and relief for employees were discussed.
A tour of our spacious premises to show the working conditions and benefits for our employees rounded off the visit.
